Who We Are Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
We were the ones who weren't afraid
We were the brokenhearted
We were the scars that wouldn't fade awayHow did we let go?
How did we forget that we don't have to hide?
We won't believe the lies again
We won't be paralyzedWe can be who we are, now we are alive
We can fight, they cannot contain us
It's who we are, we are undyingWon't hide our faces from the light
Eliminate the space between us
It's who we are, we are forever

It's who we areWe were the tears that passion cried
We were the sacrificed
We were the flame that wouldn't die insideHow did we go wrong?
We will not forget, we won't get left behind
We won't give up this fight again
We won't be deniedWe can be who we are, now we are alive
We can fight, they cannot contain us
It's who we are, we are undying
We are foreverWon't hide our faces from the light
Eliminate the space between us
It's who we are, we are forever
It's who we areWe will never die
We'll never die
We will not deny
Now we are aliveWe can be who we are, now we are alive
We can fight, they cannot contain us
It's who we are, we are undying
We are foreverWon't hide our faces from the light
Eliminate the space between us
It's who we are, we are forever
It's who we are

Red

There are several artists using this name: Red (USA) (often typeset as R3D) is an American alternative band formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2004. Musically influenced by artists such as Linkin Park, Chevelle, and Muse, Red's style is the rare symphonic rock which blends guitars and strings with passionate vocals. The songs on End of Silence deconstruct struggles that listeners face, while painting a picture of redemption in the midst of brokenness. According to lead vocalist Mike Barnes, Red stands for the blood of Christ and what it represents: passion, pain, but ultimately, redemption.
