Who Would've Thought Lyrics

Who would've thought that dreams come true
And who would've thought I'd end up with you
And who would've thought what they said was true
But it was and you are light and darkness coming throughSilhouetted palm trees backing up against the sky
Echo park sunset, an ambulance drives by
Well, someone went down and I wonder who
Faces flash forth could it be anybody I knewSo I drank like a fish till I crawl like a rat
In the city of shit, I ended up on my back
But I can't believe you're with me after dark
So let it come together in echo parkAnd I said, who would've thought that dreams come true
And who would've thought I'd end up with you
And who would've thought what they said was true
But it was and you are light and darkness coming throughA red flag and your body wins
Or a snake bite, gotta start again
So I'm fucked up, I'm watching TV all day
I don't wanna see what Ricky Lake's gotta sayAnd it hits me when I'm alone, I'm an angry man
I start singing to myself, I got dealt a shitty hand
With all these feelings my heart could explode

So is it not fear, no not at allAnd I said, who would've thought that dreams come true
And who would've thought I'd end up with you
And who would've thought what they said was true
But it was and you are light and darkness coming throughNa na na, na na na
Na na na, na na na
Na na na, na na naWho would've thought that dreams come true
And who would've thought I'd end up with you
And who would've thought what they said was true
But it was and you are light and darkness coming through

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
