Why You Wanna Do That? (ooh Girl) Lyrics

Shaking in the club, making it all wet
Sitting on my lap, knowing we just met
Ooh girl, why you wanna go and do that?
Do what? Do that, why you wanna do that?Frontin' in the club, making it all wet
Sitting on my lap, playing hard to get
Ooh girl, why you wanna go and do that?
Do what? Do that, why you wanna do that? She's sexually teasing me, standing too close to me
Whispering things to me just to get my attention
And she's thinking it's just a game, fake numbers and made up names
Promising freaky things but she's got no intentionsShe says she just wanna have fun so
She keeps leading me on
Not knowing I ain't the one
Still she keeps onShaking in the club, making it all wet
Sitting on my lap, knowing we just met
Ooh girl, why you wanna go and do that?
Do what? Do that, why you wanna do that?Frontin' in the club, making it all wet
Sitting on my lap, playing hard to get
Ooh girl, why you wanna go and do that?

Do what? Do that, why you wanna do that?To her, image is everything and she would do anything
To make the illusion, she is the life of the party
So I'll play along with her scheme until she comes near my cream
Watching her every move, trying to get to my moneyShe says she just wanna have fun so
She keeps leading me on
Not knowing I ain't the one
Still she keeps onShaking in the club, making it all wet
Sitting on my lap, knowing we just met
Ooh girl, why you wanna go and do that?
Do what? Do that, why you wanna do that?Frontin' in the club, making it all wet
Sitting on my lap, playing hard to get
Ooh girl, why you wanna go and do that?
Do what? Do that, why you wanna do that?Shaking in the club, making it all wet
Sitting on my lap, knowing we just met
Ooh girl, why you wanna go and do that?
Do what? Do that, why you wanna do that?Frontin' in the club, making it all wet
Sitting on my lap, playing hard to get
Ooh girl, why you wanna go and do that?
Do what? Do that, why you wanna do that?Touching me, why you wanna do that?
Now you're teasing me, why you wanna do that?
Trying to see my watch, why you wanna do that?
You wanna see my rings, why you wanna do that? You're all over me, why you wanna do that?
Trying to hold my hand, why you wanna do that?
'Cause we had a dance, why you wanna do that?
Girl you don't even know me, no, noGirl get off me, back up off me
Why you doing that now, that now?
Ooh girl why you wanna go and do that?
Do what? Do that, why you wanna do that?Girl get off me, back up off me
Why you doing that now, that now?
Ooh girl why you wanna go and do that?
Do what? Do that, why you wanna do that?

Montell Du'Sean Jordan (born December 3, 1968 in Los Angeles, California) is an American R&B singer, songwriter, and record producer. Jordan was the first R&B artist signed to the Def Jam label, and became the main male artist on its Def Soul imprint until leaving the label in 2003.

Jordan attended Pepperdine University in California to pick up a bachelor's degree in communications, graduating summa cum laude and was a state finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship.

Jordan's first single was the 1995 #1 hit single "This Is How We Do It", and defined his hip hop soul musical style. "This Is How We Do It" and its follow-up, "Somethin' 4 Da Honeyz", show a strong hip hop influence, and Jordan's material fit alongside the rest of Def Jam's output. Future hits would include "Let's Ride" with Master P in 1998 and "Get It on Tonite" in late-1999.

Besides crafting his own material, Jordan has written and produced for a number of outside artists, including Christina Milian, 98 Degrees, Deborah Cox ("Nobody's Supposed to Be Here", 1998), and Sisqó (the number-one hit "Incomplete", 2000). The singer has had cameo roles in the films "The Fighting Temptations" and "The Nutty Professor."

Jordan left Def Soul in 2003 and released the album "Life After Def" on Koch Records.

Jordan released his 7th project - "Let It Rain" - on October 21, 2008.

In 2010, Jordan left the music business to become a minister. As he explained on his Twitter feed, the decision is "a calling that’s probably been with me all my life since I was a child. And I’ve known it. A lot of people in the business know it and have the same calling but that leap of faith is difficult."
