Wild Fire Woman Lyrics

I wanna drive a car way across the border
She's the only one, she keep my mind in order
I'm not a bad man, but I know where I stand
If I had the luck, gotta have your love in my hand
(Yeah, I'm coming for it, baby)
Takes a good man, yeah, to know a good woman
I'm not such a good man as a woman needs a-loving
I'm a-driving down the highway, getting closer to your love
I'm going pretty fast now, but it ain't fast enough, listen
Wild fire shooting through my veins
Burn the fever to my brain
Wild fire woman, something you got
I start to shiver when you do that, do that baby
Well, it takes a good man to know a good woman
I'm not such a good man as a woman needs a-loving
So I'm a-flying up the Freeway, ain't nothing in sight
You know it takes a lot of loving to keep me driving all night
Wild fire shooting through my veins

Burn the fever to my brain
Wild fire woman, something you got
I start to shiver when you do that, do that baby
Wild fire shooting through my veins
Burn the fever to my brain
Wild fire woman, something you got
I start to shiver when you do that
Wild fire shooting through my veins
Burn the fever to my brain
Wild fire woman, something you got
I start to shiver when you do that, do that baby
Do that, do that baby
I start to shiver and shake
I just can't wait, I start to shiver and shake
I just can't wait, I start to shiver and shake
I, Lordy, I just can't wait
Driving down the highway, yeah, wow
Oh, baby, take a good loving to keep me driving all night
I'm a-driving all night, oh, yeah
Straight on down the highway
Straight on down the highway
Wow, straight on down the highway, yeah

(Not to be confused with Bad Company UK, the 1990s/2000s drum-and-bass DJ team. If you are here because of them, please fix your artist tags.)

Bad Company was a 1970s British blues-rock group fronted by Paul "The Voice" Rodgers. Their name came from a ‘70s Western movie and they were formed by former members of Mott the Hoople, Free, and King Crimson. Members were Paul Rodgers (singer/pianist), Mick Ralphs (guitarist), Boz Burrell (bassist), and Simon Kirke (drummer).

Their hits include “Shooting Star,” “Bad Company,” “Feel Like Makin’ Love,” “Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy,” "Ready for Love," and “Can’t Get Enough,” most of which are off of the albums Straight Shooter and Bad Company.

In the mid 80`s Rodgers & Burrell left the band. New singer Brian Howe, who had worked with Ted Nugent earlier, made 4 albums with the band. Year 1990`s LP Holy water contained big hit "If you needed somebody". Their style was then more like melodic rock.

In mid 1990`s Howe left the band and solo artist Robert Hart replaced him. Also other guitarist Dave Colwell & basist Rick Wills joined to group. In 2000`s Paul Rodgers came back to make the new album with old band members Kirke, Ralphs & other guys. They got a hit with the song "Joe Fabulous" what was number 1 on Classic Rock Radio. After that recording all original members left the band and new line-up members came to band. Robert Hart became again the band´s singer.
