Windy Outside Lyrics

I am just a lonesome cowboy
Out here on the lone prairie
Just a boy from Colorado
I got my guitar on my kneeChinook wind blows down from the mountains
Breathes the perfumed breath of spring
See the mountains in the moonlight
Hear that lonesome cowboy singYippie-yay-kay-yay, git along, little dogies
It's your misfortune, and none of my own
Yippie-yay-kay-yay, on the streets of Laredo
It's your misfortune, and none of my own
Take the pickup into Pueblo
Hank Williams on the radio
Get a cold beer on the highway
I've got a long, long, long, long way to goI'm getting out of Colorado
Seek my fortune and my fame
Pick up the interstate in Cheyenne
I got my ticket, I got my name
And I sing

Yippie-yay-kay-yay, git along, little dogies
It's your misfortune, and none of my own
Yippie-yay-kay-yay, on the streets of Laredo
It's your misfortune, and none of my own
