Wine Stained Lips Lyrics

You said you'd always be there for me
You said you'd always be in my life
But now, oh, now you're chasing dragons insteadYou told me I was chasing the moon
I should have listened up but I'm a fool
A fool tangled up in your webAll for the taste of wine stained lips
200 miles just to get my fix it shouldn't be, it shouldn't be
You're bringing me down and I need to get some sleep9 miles to happiness
I know because I've been there before
9 miles to happiness
I've got something to live forPlease tell me old friend
Did you find what your looking for?
I'd like to tell you that without you
I'm so happy I could dieAll for the taste of wine stained lips
200 miles just to get my fix it shouldn't be, it shouldn't be
You're bringing me down and I need to get some sleep9 miles to happiness
I know because I've been there before
9 miles to happiness
I've got something to live for9 miles to happiness

I know because I've been there before
9 miles to happiness
I've got something to live forIt seems that I can't count
All the roads that I've been down
And it seems that I can't count all the towns
That I've drown in and burned to the groundBut I would have found what I found
This place so full of style
And second hand love so incredibly cheap
I stayed for nine months and I stayed for nine weeks9 miles to happiness
I know because I've been there before
9 miles to happiness
I've got something to live for9 miles to happiness
I know because I've been there before
9 miles to happiness
I've got something to live for

1) Catch 22 (ska): Catch 22 is a third-wave ska band based in New Jersey. The band was formed in 1995 by drummer Chris Greer and vocalist Tomas Kalnoky. They released a self-produced demo tape, Rules of the Game, in 1996. All 2000 copies of the tape quickly sold out.
