Winter Wonderland Lyrics

Over the ground lies a mantle of white
A heaven of diamonds shine down through the night
Two hearts are thrilling in spite of the chill in the weatherLove knows no season, love knows no clime
Romance can blossom any old time
Here in the open we're walking and hoping togetherSleigh bells ring, are you listenin'?
In the lane snow is glistenin'
What a beautiful sight, we're happy tonight
Walkin' in a winter wonderlandGone away is the blue bird
Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song as we go along
Walkin' in a winter wonderlandIn the meadow we can build a snowman
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say "Are you married?"
We'll say "No, man
But you can do the job when you're in town"Later on we'll conspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid
The plans that we made

Walkin' in a winter wonderlandSleigh bells ring, are you listenin'?
In the lane snow is glistenin'
A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight
Walkin' in a winter wonderlandGone away is the blue bird
Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song as we go along
Walkin' in a winter wonderlandIn the meadow we can build a snowman
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say "Are you married?"
We'll say "No, man
But you can do the job when you're in town"Later on we'll conspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid
The plans that we made
Walkin' in a winter wonderlandSleigh bells ring, are you listenin'?
In the lane snow is glistenin'
A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight
Walkin' in a winter wonderland

Harvey Philip Spector (born December 26, 1940) is an American record producer and songwriter. In later years, he gained infamy as the subject of a murder conviction. The originator of the wall of sound production technique, Spector was a pioneer of the 1960s girl group sound (The Ronettes and The Crystals a.o.) and produced over twenty-five Top 40 hits between 1960 and 1965 alone. After this initial success, Spector later worked with artists including Ike and Tina Turner, John Lennon, George Harrison, and the Ramones with similar acclaim.
