With Friends Like These Lyrics

All this violence is puzzling
Maybe the law should intervene
All this violence is threatening
Hate is in need of censoringBan hate and violence for our convenience
Ban hate and violence for our convenienceAll this violence is puzzling
Maybe the law should intervene
All this violence is threatening
Hate is in need of censoringBan hate and violence for our convenience
Ban hate and violence for our convenienceDon't we all know the dangers
Of two conflicting viewpoints?
An active troublemaker
Banning the flame of dissentSo much aggravation
To all haters
We'll create some laws to stop you
You're the danger, you really shouldn't be allowed toThey piss on morality
They detest humanity
Those savages should be banned
They're so deeply offensive

Somebody shut them up[Incomprehensible]
They'll still be full of [Incomprehensible] shit
But it's handy
We'll blame it on human natureThey piss on morality
They detest humanity
Those savages should be banned
They're so deeply offensive
Somebody shut them upWe'll censor the hell out of you
We'll coerce evil out of you
We'll cut your tongue if we have to
You're the baddies and we hate youWe'll censor the hell out of you
We'll coerce evil out of you
We'll cut your tongue if we have to
You're the baddies and we hate you

Stereolab are a UK-based band whose style, mixing 1950s-1960s pop and lounge music with the "motorik" beat of krautrock, was one of the first to which the term "post-rock" was applied. They are noted for the use of vintage keyboard instruments like Moog synthesizers and Vox and Farfisa organs. Stereolab is also notable for founding their own record label, Duophonic Records, with a grant from UK charity The Prince's Trust. The band is often referred to as "The Groop" by their fans (and in the title of their song "The Groop Play Chord X" on the album Space Age Batchelor Pad Music).
