With You, I Sink Lyrics

You listen in to what we have to say
But turn and walk away
Are you listening now, now, now?You know it won't take much to change my mind
So make me turn this car around
Tone of your voice could make me hit the brakes
And look out for an exit
So make me turn this heart aroundOh, when you look this way
And I can say, Ive been there, until recentlyIt's you, its another lesson learned in letting go
And Im too scared to let you, to let you go
Could it be Im scared to let you go?You know it won't take much to change my mind
So make me turn this car around
Just the tone of your voice could make me hit the brakes
And look out for an exit
So make me turn this heart aroundOh, when you look this way
And I can say, Ive been there, until recentlyIt's you, its another lesson learned in letting go
And Im too scared to let you, to let you goWhen you call me by my name
When you call me by my name
You call me by my name

It feels like sinking sandIt's you, its another lesson learned in letting go
And Im too scared to let you, to let you go

A group plagued by major-label woes and break-ups, that was exactly what was essential for The Fold’s resilience: healing. Evolving from several Chicago-based rock outfits including Warner Brothers signees, Showoff, it seemed The Fold’s previous groups were in a place most musicians only dream of…and then things changed. “I suppose I gave up a lot when I left a major label band to start The Fold,” explains the band’s frontman and founder, Daniel Castady, “but if I did, it was because I knew that those things were passing away.”
