Without Panasos Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
It's never felt so hot within these walls between the cracks
As we forget our manners days slow down and I relapseDear Dad - I'm having trouble feeling sad
Your words find secret pathways through my spine
Inside my teeth I'll scream - I know that I miss you - I know that I miss you
Inside my teeth I'll screamThose diamond streets, invisible runways buried beneath
And I was wrong this time - oh I was so wrongEvery other morning I wake up lost and tired from dreaming
As we distill our vision nights grow long - void of real meaning.Dear Dad - I'm having trouble feeling sad
Your words find secret pathways through my spine
Inside my teeth I'll scream - I know that I miss you - I know that I miss you
Inside my teeth I'll screamThose diamond streets, invisible runways buried beneath

And I was wrong this time - oh I was so wrongAnd Dad you don't know the half of it this time
You told me what was yours would soon be mine
You taught me to no longer be afraid - no longer be afraidThose diamond streets, invisible runways buried beneath
And I was wrong this time - oh I was so wrong

The Anniversary was an indie rock band formed in 1997 in Lawrence, Kansas. The band released two full length albums: "Your Majesty and "Designing a Nervous Breakdown" as well as a number of splits. Originally a group of high school friends, Matthew Pryor of The Get Up Kids approached them about recording an album. Designing a Nervous Breakdown was the result. The band broke up on February 6, 2004 despite having a number of songs ready for a third album. Three of the members joined together to form the band The Only Children, taking a few of the completed songs along with them.
