Without a Doubt Lyrics

You know we turn the party out (Without a doubt)
And show em what it's about (Without a doubt)
We'll win whether you like it or not (Without a doubt)
We make it hot (Without a doubt) (Repeat 2x)We keep it heated like stones in Hell's Kitchen
MC's are wishing that they had a pot to piss in[Akil]
Akil is on a mission to smash the competition
I whip my opposition with words into a sentence
And combat your verbal attacks with no assistance
I'm too consistant for you brothers to keep bitching
Pay close attention to my verbal composition
I keep it distant like my love for the business
You ask "What is this? Is it real or ficticous?"
I kill the wise and intelligent rebels with percision[Charlie 2na]
It's a true conspiracy, battle for world supremecy
Huh, send me brothers they maybe try to contend with me
But me and my staff soon shine like a perfect half moon
And get you open like a public bathroom, paragraph doom
The vicious lyric solicitor

No comission keeping it different for my listeners
Taking no prisioners, sealing perimeters
Never singular, giving you something that you rememberYou know we turn the party out (Without a doubt)
And show em what it's about (Without a doubt)
We'll win whether you like it or not (Without a doubt)
We make it hot (Without a doubt) (Repeat 2x)We reccomend Jurassic 5 like daily check-ups
From waist to your neck up, so next man step up[Marc 7even]
You're now the victim of a vocal verbal stick up
My style will make you get up and down just like a sit up
To those who want to get us, brother keep your chin up
What up? I roll with winners, beyond beginners
The average nigger squeezes triggers when your rap style's bigger
How you figure that you can disrespect my art?
I know the true MC's take this life to heart
Let's take it back to the start, Donnie Dew kick your part[Zaakir]
And it's the outlaw about to rock y'all, now watch my hands go
Over the nickle full black tainted pearl handle
And watch it richocet, captivate the airwaves
Hit you with the ever blade connected with the wordplay
Mister Pro-fessional with the clever flows
Hear it on your radio, Donnie Brasco
With the defness, and the ways of the West
Represent the flavor breathlessYou know we turn the party out (Without a doubt)
And show em what it's about (Without a doubt)
We'll win whether you like it or not (Without a doubt)
We make it hot (Without a doubt) (Repeat 2x)Uh, no doubt, when J5 comes, that's right

Jurassic 5 was originally a six-piece hip-hop crew that was formed in 1993 at the Los Angeles, California venue Good Life. Rappers Chali 2na, Akil, Zaakir aka Soup, Mark 7even, and turntable maestros DJ Nu-Mark and DJ Cut Chemist came together from two separate crews, the Rebels of Rhythm and Unity Committee. Cut Chemist left the band in 2006 to pursue a solo career.

The group debuted for TVT Records in 1995 with the single for Unified Rebelution. Their acclaimed position in the 1990s alternative hip-hop movement, alongside artists including Company Flow, Black Star and Kool Keith, was confirmed when the Jurassic 5 EP was released in December 1997.

The EP was later repackaged with additional tracks and released in December 1998 as the band's full-length debut album, entitled Jurassic 5 LP.

The tracks harked back to the old school attitude of new york's Native Tongues Posse, the seminal late 1980s coalition of artists who reaffirmed rap's social agenda, which included De La Soul, the Jungle Brothers and A Tribe Called Quest. This was evident on the song Concrete Schoolyard ("Let's take it back to the concrete streets/Original beats from real live MCs"), and the album even provided the troupe with a surprise uk Top 40 single when it reached number 35 in November 1998. The other stand-out track, Jayou, was built around a hypnotic flute loop from Pleasure Web's Music Man Part 1 (Music Man Part 1).

In 1999, Jurassic 5 signed to Interscope Records, who re-released the Jurassic 5 EP. This was followed by their second album (their first on a major label), Quality Control.

In 2002, they released their third album, Power In Numbers, which was followed by touring with the newly-revived Lollapalooza festival in the summer of 2003.

Their latest album, Feedback, was released on July 25, 2006.

On March 21, 2007, in an interview with the Australian news outlet News.com.au, Zaakir confirmed that the band would be breaking up after their current and final live-tour.
