Witness Lyrics

Everyday I find another way
Something more to get me through this life, life, life
You dont believe in what you see
Then tell me baby, does it make you blind, blind, blind?
That ain't the way it isI need a witness when you talk to me
I need a witness, won't you set me free?
I need a witness when you talk to me
I need a witness baby, now won't you set me free? All these people travel on, travel on in the road, road, road
Now you tell me how to plant my seed
Then you tell me baby, it wont grow, grow, grow
Now it aint the way it isI need a witness when you talk to me
I need a witness, won't you set me free?
I need a witness when you talk to me
Oh, I need a witness baby, now won't you set me free?
Oh, set me free child, c'monOh, yeah, yeah, listen to me people
People die when we dont try, we walk away
Dont you see theres a better way of life?
People die when we dont try, we walk away

Dont you see theres a better way, people pray?People die when we dont try, we walk away
Dont you see theres a better way of life?
People die when we dont try, we walk awayI need a witness when you talk to me
Yeah, I need a witness baby, won't you set me free, yeah, set me free?
I need a witness, now won't you talk to me?
Oh, I need a witness baby, now won't you set me free?
Oh, set me free, childI said, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah
Tell me what you'll do baby
Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah
Tell me what you'll do childNah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah
Tell me what you'll do baby
Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah
I need a witness baby, yeah

Bo Bice has music in his blood. Born Harold Bice in Huntsville, Alabama on Nov. 1, 1975, Bo was raised in the south by his song-singing, instrument-playing, music-worshiping parents. He competed in the fourth season of American Idol and was the runner-up to Carrie Underwood.

Bo's first album, titled The Real Thing, was released on December 13th, 2005. It includes several original songs on which Bo shares writing credit such as “It’s My Life”, which Bo wrote with Clif Magness and Kara DioGuardi.

Bo's second album, "See The Light" was released October 23, 2007. It was recorded in his own studio, and under his own independent record label, Sugar Money (teamed up with StratArt for that project). The album was co-produced by Bo and Frank Liddell. The songs (all written by Bo, some in collaboration with friends) reflect a diverse spectrum--from all-out southern rock, country, funk, to emotional ballads.
