Wona (Ft. Baaba Maal, The Very Best & Beatenberg) Lyrics

You don't wanna turn away this time
Then why don't you take a different line
Don't have to be cruel to be kind
You don't have to lose your mind
You don't wanna suffer for your art
You don't wanna vivisect your heart
And then if you're falling apart
You're probably trying too hardIn the dawning light I found you breathless
But I won't deny I love you helplessYou don't wanna say what you don't mean
You still want to paint a figure scene
You hide in the wings with a lamp
And cast the shadows on a screen
You don't wanna sing what you can say
Well that's quite a hard game to play
You wanna just say a cliche
But where there's a will there's a wayBut in the dawning light I found you breathless
But I won't deny I love you helplessWona, (?)
Wona

Wona, (?)
Wona
Wona, (?)
Wona
Wona, (?)
Wona, (?)In the dawning light I found you breathless
But I won't deny I love you helplessAnd I will be yours (wona, (?))
And you will be mine (wona)
And I will be yours (wona, (?))
And you will be mine (wona, (?))

Mumford & Sons are an indie folk/bluegrass group formed in London in September 2008. The band consists of Marcus Mumford (lead vocals, guitar, bass drum), Country Winston (banjo, slide guitar, vocals), Ted Dwayne (double bass, drums, vocals), and Ben Lovett (keyboards, accordion, vocals). Having received critical acclaim from The Guardian on their “Band of the Day” online forum, and resounding praise from nearly everyone who has witnessed them supporting The Maccabees and Laura Marling, Mumford & Sons continue to turn heads in London’s growing folk scene.
