Words Alone Lyrics

When I'm afraid of dying
Ashamed of never doing what I'm here for
I'm afraid of being afraid
And wasting precious timeI'm afraid of growing so cold
And closing off the love inside me
I'm afraid of just getting old
And never getting wiseHere tonight
A storm of another kind
Where's the light I have known
I have known
The lightening strikes
Born of another time
Across these years You have shown
By Your words alone
By Your words alone
By Your words aloneI don't even know how it starts
Too much fretting and forgetting
But something switches off in my heart

And leaves me to my mindSo I'm reaching for your words in the dark
To bring you here to shine your Wisdom
And all it takes is one sudden spark
To leave this fear behind meHere tonight
A storm of another kind
Where's the light I have known
I have known
The lightening strikes
Born of another time
Across these years You have shown
By Your words alone
By Your words alone
By Your words aloneYou blaze this sacred trail I findHere tonight
A storm of another kind
Where's the light I have known
I have known
The lightening strikes
Born of another time
Across these years you have shown
By your words alone
