Words Meet Heartbeats Lyrics

Well I'd go house to house and knock on every door
I'd take down all the walls and tear up every floor
Just to figure out, oh what we're fighting for
And all I can do is sit and let the air speak for youCause when words meet heartbeats, baby, come on
You know it's not even fair and a first-round knockdown
Baby, the floor, you know I'm already there
And the sun sets high and that moon is low
Cause when words meet heartbeats, baby, you'll knowWell there's silence now, there's nothing more to gain
And it isn't right if I can't run away
Because it kills the mood when there's nothing left to say
And all I can do is sit and let the air speak for youCause when words meet heartbeats, baby, come on
You know it's not even fair and a first-round knockdown
Baby, the floor, you know I'm already there
And the sun sets high and that moon is low
Cause when words meet heartbeatsAnd I'm not too tired,
I'm not too tired to know what you're doing
And I'm not too tired, I'm not too tired to see
And I'm not too tired,

I'm not too tired to know what you're doing with meCause when words meet heartbeats, baby, come on
You know it's not even fair and a first-round knockdown
Baby, the floor, you know I'm already there
And the sun sets high and that moon is low
Cause when words meet heartbeats, and words meet heartbeats,
When words meet heartbeats, baby, you'll know

The Parachute Band boys spend most of their year living out of suitcases; bringing their unique brand of worship to the world. Musically, their sound is fresh and experimental – pulsing drums, angular guitars and expansive production with flourishes of electronic undertones – but spiritually they are voices to those around them, passionate advocates of boundless and unhindered worship. Frontman Omega Levine and Drummer/Producer Sam de Jong formed New Zealand’s Parachute Band in 2007, picking up from where the original Parachute Band (1996-2006) had left off.
