Words You Said Lyrics

When I wanted to give up you said no.... When I wanted throw my hands up you said hold on.... When I wanted to toss the towel yos said no my child.... Now I'm standing stead wondering will I dread the words you said....When I wanted to run away you said stay.... When I wanted to run and hide you said abide.... When I wanted to leave it all I could hear you call.... Now I'm standing stead wondering will I dread the words you said.... Some how I'll dry my tears and lift my hands.... reast my fears and embrasse the words you said.... and now my faith has ben restored I'm learning to trust you more now I'm standing stead wondering will I dread the words you said.... Some how I'll dry my tears and lift my hands.... reast my fears and embrasse the words you said.... and now my faith has been restored I'm learning to trust you more now I'm standing stead no longer dread the words you said.... (Teners) I'll abide I'll sing I will sing I'll abide I'll sing (Teners keep going) (Alto) In the shadow underneath his wing I'll abide I will sing In the shadow underneath his wing I'll abide I will sing (Teners and Altos keep going) ( Saprano) Sha.....dow Un.....der wing I will sing Sha.....dow Un.....der wing I will sing ( do that 10 more times and then end)

Deru’s music bridges different worlds. Hip-Hop, Electronic, Avant Garde. Back in High School in Chicago, Deru (Benjamin Wynn) had his friends wearing out underground hip-hop mix tapes. The second tape had Slug of Atmosphere rhyming with a “borrowed” microphone bought just for the session and returned after… Those tapes, by the way, are still being played.

Since then, Deru has found himself studying music in California (where he now resides) and writing music for TV and even dance. One of his recent projects was a collaboration with a classical composer for the Paris Opera Ballet.
