World Cry Lyrics

We take a look around the world and we see what is going on
So much people complaining saying there's to much war
Tell me what are we gonna do to better the future
Tell me how we are gonna save the world from rapture
Of hate and warThe world is crying for peace
The world is crying for justice
The world is crying for love
Almighty JAH we call for refuge come please
The world is crying for peace
The world is crying for justice
The world is crying for love
Almighty JAH we call for refuge come pleaseWe say Africa wee need the OAU
Europe and America the UN too
Calling all countries of the world
We must come together, for the saving of our futureThe world is crying for peace
The world is crying for justice
The world is crying for love
Almighty JAH we call for refuge come please

The world is crying for peace
The world is crying for justice
The world is crying for love
Almighty JAH we call for refuge come please
Come please
Come please oh JAH
We calling for refuge
For the cry of the peopleWe need love and prayer
Faith in the father
Patience and forgiveness
Solidarity and willingnessThe world is crying for peace
The world is crying for justice
The world is crying for love
Almighty JAH we call for refuge come please
The world is crying for peace
The world is crying for justice
The world is crying for love
Almighty JAH we call for refuge come please

Morgan Heritage is a reggae band formed by five children of famed reggae-artist Denroy Morgan. Despite their relative youth, they have been referred to as "reggae royalty". Having grown up in their father's music studio in the U.S. the group, then consisting of eight of the children, made their first appearance at Reggae Sunsplash in Jamaica. They were subsequently signed by MCA and released their debut album Miracles in 1994. They have since criticized Miracles as being overly pop-influenced.
