World Stands Still Lyrics

Don't know what I believe
Right or wrong's not clear to see
Cos each time the wind blows, there's a storm
I'm holding back, standing proud
So secure yet lost in doubt
Still I don't know where we belongI wanna hear you say that you'll be there for me
I wanna hear you say you care[Chorus:]
I gave you love, I gave you time
Gave you what you asked, don't that mean something
Cos my world stands still, when you're not there
Just let me know, if you feel the same
All's said and done, did our love mean nothing
My world stands still when you don't care
There's a choice, in front of meTo keep you close or set you free
I can't bear to throw it all away (you can)
Choose to stay or choose to leave
But don't forget how it used to be
I'm not gonna be the one you blame

I wanna hear you say that you'll be there for me
I wanna hear you say that you care[Chorus]I tell myself you need me but I know it aint the truth
Cos what's the point in going on, if I can't love you
I'm waking up without you by my side
I'm holding onto something, can't you even try
To give me an answer coz I can't let you go[Chorus]
