Wrapped Around Your Finger Lyrics

You consider me the young apprentice
Caught between the Scylla and Charibdes
Hypnotized by you if I should linger
Staring at the ring around your fingerI have only come here seeking knowledge
Things they would not teach me of in college
I can see the destiny you sold
Turning into a shining band of goldI'll be wrapped around your finger
I'll be wrapped around your
I'll be wrapped around your finger
I'll be wrapped around yourMephistopheles is not your name
I know what you're up to just the same
I will listen hard to your tuition
You will see it come to it's fruitionI'll be wrapped around your finger
I'll be wrapped around your
I'll be wrapped around your finger
I'll be wrapped around yourDevil and the deep blue sea behind me
Vanish in the air you'll never find me
I will turn your face to alabaster

Then you'll find your servant is your masterOh, you'll be wrapped around my finger
I'll be wrapped around your
You'll be wrapped around my finger
I'll be wrapped around your
You'll be wrapped around my finger
I'll be wrapped around your
You'll be wrapped around my finger
I'll be wrapped around your finger

Underoath (occasionally typeset as underOATH or UNDERØATH) were an American band originally formed on November 30, 1997 in Ocala, Florida, but later relocated to Tampa, Florida, which was home to some of their newer members.

During the band's early years, when they were fronted by former vocalist Dallas Taylor, Underoath displayed a heavier style than their later, more well-known work, incorporating disparate influences from death and black metal. With Taylor, they released Act of Depression, Cries of the Past, and The Changing of Times.
