Wrongful Suspicion Lyrics

All right, this one goes out
To all our friends in New York
H2O, The Slackers, Stubborn All- Stars
Most respect, hey Tim, take it away my manWell, I heard they fly
A confederate flag
Down at the state houseGot a gun to my head from
The hand of a man
Down at the state houseWell, I'm reaching for a dollar
In the hole in my pocket
Down at the state houseThey said I got some rights
And I really shouldn't knock it
Down at the state houseWhat can we do?
What can we do?
What can we do?
What can we do?What can we do?
What can we do?
What can we do?Broken bones, broken roles
They can all be fixed, oh yeah

So let them who battle with the pen
And the others with the fist, it's the gospel nowThe strong ones will be defiant
With words that can't convince
You can take this as roles
But I'll take it as a dis, yeahWell, they wanna hold me
With wrongful suspicion
Down at the state houseAnd I'm all bundled up
In an awkward position
Down at the state houseAnd they say it's all part
Of a hundred year tradition
Down at the state houseAnd I do feel they got
A mental condition
Down at the state houseWhat can we do?
What can we do?
What can we do?
What can we do?What can we do?
What can we do?
What can we do?Hey, gettin' crazy watch me
Was it you all along working for the CIA? CIA
Iran-Contra Panama
American casket, Parlet, work it now, work itVisions of light, yes, visions of death, no
Visions gone astray, oh yeah
Oh, you jump on that DC10 my man, oh
And you fly awayIgnore the weak
Ignore the poor
Down at the state houseThey got a position
For me on the floor, hell no
Down at the state houseThey said, "You're gonna
Make a real, real nice world"
Down at the state houseBut they do not know
The law no, not at all
Down at the state houseWas asking, what can we do?
What can we do?
What can we do?
What can we do?What can we do?
What can we do?
What can we do?All right this one goes out
To Sick Of It All, Agnostic Front
Crown of Thornz, Dgeneration
DJ Ansen, Dave Hillyard and the Rocksteady 7Simon and the Bar Sinisters, Nine Lives
And his new band Under The Gun, Madball
Marky Ramone and The Intruders
Hey Marky, go get your fuckin' shine boxWhat can we do?
What can we do?
What can we do?

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
