Yes I Am Lyrics

YES I AMWords and Music by Margo GuryanI'm discouraged by the situation
Yes I am
I'm bewildered by your explanation
Yes I am
Did you know
Was it right
Was it wrong
Hm' hm' hm'
If you think that I'm dejected
Well I am
Yes I amI'm the target of your ammunition
Yes I am
And I'm torn and riddled with suspicion
Yes I am
Do you know
Is it good
Is it bad
Hm' hm' hm'

If you think that I'm offended
Well I am
Yes I amIsn't it like long ago
Playing children's games
Catch a liar by the toe
If he hollers let him go
Then you'll never have to know
Never have to knowI'm embarrassed by your reputation
Yes I am
And I'm fearful of your desperation
Yes I am
Is it true
Is it false
Is it true
Who, who, who
If you think I'm unconverted
Well I am
Yes I amI'm astounded by your circumvention
Yes I am
I'm insulted by your condescension
Yes I am
Is it fair
Is it foul
Will it play
Hey! Hey! Hey!
If you think I'm disaffected
Well I am
