You Ask Me Lyrics

If you can't do no better, baby
Think I'd better get me another that can
Yes, if you can't do no better, baby
Think I'd better get me another that can
You know you're goin' around cheatin' on me
You ain't doin' nothin' but losin' a good manYou know life is too short to be worried
And I think you're old enough to understand
Yeah, life is too short to be worried
Think you're old enough to understand
Yeah, you keep goin' around cheatin' on me
You ain't doin' nothin' but losin' a good manIf I'd never said hello to you, baby
Then I wouldn't be sayin' goodbye
Hey, if I'd never said hello to you, baby
Then I wouldn't be sayin' goodbye
I've got my clothes already packed now
I'm so hurt I wanna cryBut can you hear me, hear me, baby
Can you hear me, oh, I've got my clothes
My clothes is already packed now, babe

I'm so hurt I wanna cry
I wanna know why you treat me like you do, baby
I wanna know, tell me why, heyYes, if you can't do no better, baby
Think I'd better get me another baby that can
If you can't do me no better, baby
I think I'd better get me another babe that can
The way you treat me now, baby
You ain't doin' nothin' but losin' a good manHey, life is too short to be worried
And I think you're old enough to understand
Hey, I said life is too short to be worried
And I think you're old enough to understand
The way you treat me, now, baby
You ain't doin' nothin' but losin' a good man
