You Can't Say Lyrics

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa,
(You know that I love you)
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
(You know that I love you)
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
(More than anything)
We've been living in here, two years
You've been wearing this ring, one year
Times good, times bad You said
I'm down for whatever Say down for whatever, say,
Telling me that you've changed your mind
Said that I ain't been giving you time
Hustlin' morning till night, all the time
I know what you're feeling but you can't say
You can't say That I'm not there
You can't say That I don't care
You can't tell me I don't love
More than, more than anything

You can't say That I'm not there
You can't say That I don't care
You can't tell me I don't love
More than, more than anything
Now you're running the streets, all night,
Where you been and you say, you're mama's house
I find it hard to believe
When you say whatever
And then you say get over it
They say absence makes the heart grow fonder
But it ain't working for me and I wonder
Why you treat me so bad, so bad?
You can't say That I'm not there
You can't say That I don't care
You can't tell me I don't love
More than, more than anything
You can't say That I'm not there
You can't say That I don't care
You can't tell me I don't love
More than, more than anything
More than the money I got
More than the cars I drive
More than this ice you see, you see Are you down for whatever?
I'm still down for whatever
say More than this house I live
Everything I got I'll give
Let me lay it on the line Girl hear me out, out, out, out
You can't say That I'm not there
You can't say That I don't care
You can't tell me I don't love More than, more than anything(4x)
I'm down for whatever say (I'm down for whatever say)
I'm down for whatever say (I'm down for whatever say)
Are you down for whatever say? (Let's be down for whatever say)
I'm down for whatever say (I'm down for whatever say)
I'm down for whatever say (I'm down for whatever say)
I'm down for whatever say (I'm down for whatever say)
Are you down for whatever say?...

Dave Hollister, cousin of music act K-Ci and JoJo, started developing fame as a musician in the early 1990s. Some of his biggest early appearances were with 2Pac on tracks like "Brenda's Got A Baby."

His next big move was when he was signed to Teddy Riley's R&B group BLACKstreet in 1994. He worked with the group on their first album and then left the group to pursue his own solo career. He was signed to DreamWorks Records and began working on an album.

In 1999, Hollister released his first albumm, Ghetto Hymns. The album was successful, going gold, and creating one hit single, "My Favorite Girl." "My Favorite Girl" reached #10 on the R&B charts.

Hollister's follow-up album, Chicago '85... The Movie was released in 2000. The album was an autobiographical work and went gold. "One Woman Man" the album's biggest single, reached #8 on the R&B charts.

For his third effort, Hollister moved to Motown Records. He hoped the new label would instill new energy into his music. The album, Things In the Game Done Changed was released in 2002 and faired poorly on the charts and radio.

As a result of the album's shortcomings, Hollister returned to DreamWorks where he released Real Talk in 2003. Following the album's release, Hollister moved to Gospo Centric.

Hollister is reportedly wrapping up his fifth album in the industry, The Book of David: Vol. 1 The Transition. The album will be coming out on September 26, 2006 from Gospo Centric.
