You Can't Take Me Lyrics

Haare, Haare, HaareI've been wastin' all my time
And I've been drinkin' all that wine
And I've been drinkin' all that beer
And I've been sheddin' all these tears
I can't go and you can't stay
You're not gonna take me out that wayBecause you can't take me
I said, "You can't take me"
No, you can't take me anywhere
I don't wanna go
(Haare, haare)I've been down this road before
And I just cannot care no more
I can't see, what you can see
I'm too busy bein' me
See, I can't go and you can't stay
You're not gonna take me out that wayBecause you can't take me
I said, "You can't take me"
No, you can't take me anywhere
I don't wanna go(Haare)

I don't need to save no face
And I can't wait to leave this place
I've been fooled by lesser things
And I don't care what tomorrow brings
See, I can't go and you can't stay
You're not gonna take me out that wayBecause you can't take me
I said, "You can't take me"
No, you can't take me anywhere
I don't wanna go
No, you can't take me anywhere
I don't wanna goHaare

Uncle Kracker (born Matthew Shafer 9 November 1974 in Mount Clemens, Michigan) is an American rock and roll and country music musician.

He started out his career at a young age as a fledgling rapper. He met Kid Rock in 1987, and Rock asked Kracker to become his DJ. Kracker did not know how to work the turntables, but he soon learned how to, and he became a long-term friend and colleague of Rock.

Kracker worked with Kid Rock until he became a solo artist in 2000.

The My Hometown Songfacts reports that Kracker recorded Postcards From Home over seven weeks in early 2011. The album title was inspired by his hectic life on the road after his successful Happy Hour longplayer.
