You Can't Take That Away Lyrics

You're so different
You remind me a lot of myself
A few years ago maybe
No regrets
I've often wondered what I'd do
If I had my time againDaydreaming's easy
But living life is strictly one way
No turning back
No map
We all go astray
Still I guess I'm telling you something
That you could testifyAs time passes by
I still don't know why
You've taken every thing from me but loveI tried to reason with you
But you had made up your mind
We argued in whispers
If I live till I die
I never want to go to hell againThe phases of the moon

The seasons the years won't erase
The silent echo of your dream in my heart
My eyes are burning
Tears are running down my cheeks
As I start to cryAs time passes by
I still don't know why
You've taken every thing from me but love
As time passes by
I still don't know why
You've taken every thing from me but loveOh you can't take that away from me
Oh no you can't take that away from me
There is no future and the past is all lies
But with each heartbeat another part of me dies
You can't take that away from meAs time passes by
I still don't know why
You've taken every thing from me but love
As time passes by
I still don't know why
You've taken every thing from me but loveOh you can't take that away from me
Oh no you can't take that away from me
There is no future and the past is all lies
But with each heartbeat another part of me dies
Oh you can't take that away from me
Oh no you can't take that away from me
Oh no you can't take that away from me
Oh no you can't take that away from me
Oh no you can't take that away from me
