You Give Up Lyrics

Oooh yeah!
Ooooh yeaaah!Another winter of your discontent
I know how you scream and shout
When nothing you see makes any sense
Invaluable excuses
Drop like pearls in your self defense
You never do nothing about nothing, no
Where's all your confidenceWhy can't you reach for a closer dream
The reason you fail
Is you go to extremes
You don't have to lie
You gotta try
If you fall, you can call
But you don't have to crawlYou give up
Hah, baby when it gets too rough
You ain't got what it takes
No you ain't tough enough
You give up

You're lazy, when it starts to rock
And when you see a way out, you go
Oooh yeah!Another day goes by
Another tale to tell
How you nearly made it oh so far
Yeah you nearly did really well
Now why can't you reach
For a closer dream
The people who care
They don't mind where you've been
You don't have to lie
You gotta try
If you fall
You can call
But you don't have to crawlYou give up
Hah, baby when it gets too rough
You ain't got what it takes
No you ain't tough enough
You give up
You're lazy, when it starts to rock
And when you see a way out, you go
Oooh yeah!Well it's another cold and lonely day
You got another tall tale to tell
How you nearly made it oh so far
Yeah you nearly did really well
But I knowYou give up
Hah, baby when it gets too rough
You ain't got what it takes
No you ain't tough enough
You give up
You're lazy, when it starts to rock
And when you see a way out, you go
Oooh yeah!Wooh, oooh, ooooh wooooh yeah!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!
You give up, woooh yeah! woooh yeah!
You give up, you always give up
Well I know you give up
You always give up
You give up

T'Pau was a late-1980s rock group led by singer Carol Decker. They had a string of Top 40 hits in the UK, and several hits in the United States and Europe. T'Pau formed in 1986. The members originated from the towns of Shrewsbury and Wellington in central England and took their name from a Vulcan high priestess in the classic Star Trek episode Amok Time. Their debut single and first hit was the 1987 release Heart and Soul. Initially a flop in the UK, it first became a hit in the U.S. Billboard charts, reaching #4, a feat it repeated in the UK Singles Chart some months later.
