You (Got It) Lyrics

You, you said you'd come around
Silk stockings can't be found
On my floor no moreYou, you're the one I want to see
You could make me happy
If you'd come and live with meI don't even know that much about losing
I've had some bad times
I've had some good times
I've done okayYou could take it all from me if you wanted
And I'm sure that you'd agree
Well, I hope that you'd agreeYou, you opened up my mind
I'm standing in the rain
Feeling alrightYou, you put a grin across my face
I love the way you taste
I really want you, babe
I don't even know that much about youYou've got that magic touch
You've really got it down
I don't even see your face when I want youBut I hear you come around
Well, I know you come around

Oh, babe, I want you
Yeah, yeah yeah ohHow I want you
I don't even know that much about losing
But you've got that magic touch
You really got it downI don't even see your face when I want you
But I hope you come around
Well, I know you come aroundYou, you said you'd come around
Silk stockings can't be found
On my floor no moreYou, you're the one I want to see
You could make me happy
If you'd only come and live with meBaby, you can fall in love
Fall in love again, fall in love again
Fall in love again, fall in love again
Fall in love again, fall in love again

The Babys can refer to either the popular British rock group of the 1970s or the Japanese rock band. 1. The Babys (British) The pop rock band's name was chosen to give them a greater chance of a recording contract as they felt companies were leaning towards the teen market. They released their eponymous first album in 1976 and quickly followed it up with 'Broken Heart' the following year. The cover of 'Broken Heart'- with the group members in glossy make-up- may have been part of the aforementioned marketing ploy.
