You Make My Pants Want to Get Up and Dance Lyrics

You make my pants wanna get up and dance
You make my face wanna grin
You make my knees wanna kneel down, say, "Please"
Honey, won't you kiss me again? You make my pants wanna get up and dance
You make my face wanna grin
You make my knees wanna kneel down, say, "Please"
Honey, won't you kiss me again?I was a lost and lonely man
Now I get through life the best I can
'Til the day I laid my eye on you
That day I decided what I had to doYou make my pants wanna get up and dance
You make my face wanna grin
You make my knees wanna kneel down, say, "Please"
Honey, won't you kiss me again?Start the music strike up the band
I never done the boogie but I believe I can
Never met a girl half as sweet as you
Nobody's ever moved half the moves you doYou make my pants wanna get up and dance
You make my face wanna grin
You make my knees wanna kneel down, say, "Please"

Honey, won't you kiss me again? You make my pants wanna get up and dance
You make my face wanna grin
You make my knees wanna kneel down, say, "Please"
Honey, won't you kiss me again?

Dr. Hook (& The Medicine Show) were formed in Union City, New Jersey, USA in 1968. The original lineup consisted of Ray Sawyer, Dennis Locorierre, Bill Francis, John David and George Cummings - although there were countless lineup changes over the years.

Two years after Sawyer left in 1983 the band split up. Since then Sawyer has begun touring as "Dr Hook featuring Ray Sawyer" and Locorierre has also promoted himself as "The voice of Dr Hook".

Trivia: In a live webcast performance from Atlanta Bon Jovi performed "Sylvia's Mother" by Dr Hook - declaring the song "One we should have written".
