You Put Something Better Inside Of Me Lyrics

I could look out my window
Or stare at the wall
It really it didn't matter
No, I just didn't care at allCould be sitting by the water
Counting every stone
But nothing means nothing
When you're empty and on your own'Cause you put something better inside of me
You put something better inside of me
Makes me so much stronger
I'm amazed at the change in meWell, I knew what I was doing
I was running away
Busy going nowhere
Just wasting the time of dayI was walking down the road
Kicking up the stones
Nothing means nothing
When you're empty and on your own'Cause you put something better inside of me
Makes me so much stronger
I'm amazed at the change in meYou put something better inside of me

Makes me so much stronger
I'm amazed at the change in meYou made me so much stronger
I'm amazed at the change in me

Gerald Rafferty (born April 16, 1947, in Paisley, UK and died 4 January 2011) was a Scottish singer and songwriter. In his early years, Gerry Rafferty earned money by the formerly illegal practice of busking on the London Underground. Poetically, his biggest hit "Baker Street" was about busking at a tube station. After working with Billy Connolly (now better known as a comedian) in a band known as The Humblebums, he recorded a first solo album, Can I Have My Money Back.
