You Wear It Well Lyrics

On the streets
And everywhere
Youre turnin heads
Youve got the laissez faireYou just smile, yeah
And walk on through, oh, oh
Youve got that personality, babe
And it sure looks good on you, yeahNot the ordinary
Anything you wear looks good on you especially
Nothin I can tell you
You havent already heard a half a million times
But still Id like to sayYou wear it well
You wear it well, you wear it well
(Ho)
You wear it well
You wear it well, you wear it wellThere they go
They look so lovely too
But even so
They cant compete with you, noYouve got class

Youre more than just a pretty face, no, no, babe
Youve got that personality, babe
Youve got exactly what it takes
(Yeah, yeah, yeah)Not the ordinary
Anything wear looks good on you especially
Nothin I can tell you
You havent already heard a half a million times
But still Id like to sayYou wear it well
(Ooh, sho nuff)
You wear it well, you wear it well
(Woo)You wear it well
(Oh, yeah, baby)
You wear it well, you wear it well
(You take my breath away)Wear
(Ooh)You wear it well, just wanna tell you
You wear it well, the way it looks on you
You wear it well, just wanna tell you
You wear it wellYou wear it well
You wear it well, you wear it well
(Go on with your bad self)You wear it well
(Ho)
You wear it well, you wear it well
(You take my breath away)You wear it

DeBarge was an American R&B and soul music group. Hailing from Grand Rapids, Michigan, the group is named for their shared surname, and included the brothers Mark, James, Randy, and Eldra (or "El"), and their sister Bunny. Younger siblings Chico, Darryl, and Carol DeBarge were also singers (though not with the group), with Chico later becoming a solo star in his own right. The DeBarges, of African-American/French-Canadian descent, signed with the Motown label in the 1970s, and became one of their few successful acts during the 1980s.
