You Were On My Mind Lyrics

When I got up this morning
You were on my mind and
You were on my mindI got some aches, and whoa oh
I got some pains, and whoa oh
I got some wounds to bindSo I went to the corner
Just to ease my pain and
Just to ease my painI got drunk, and whoa oh
I got sick, and whoa oh
I came home againWell, I woke up this mornin'
You were on my mind and
You were on my mindI got troubles, whoa oh
I got worries, whoa oh
I got wounds to bindAnd I got a feeling
Down in my shoes and
Way down in my shoesI got to move on, whoa oh
I got to travel, whoa oh
I got to walk away my bluesWhen I got up this morning
You were on my mind and

You were on my mindI got some aches, and whoa oh
I got some pains, and whoa oh
I got some wounds to bind
