You and I (Outta This Place) Lyrics

Between the shadows and the light
In the cover of the night we run
We'll sleep when we getting where we going
And feel the heat of the sun
Outside the city walls
There is another goalRun baby baby
Run run baby baby
Don't stop til the morning comes
Behind to the left & your right
Got the bullet
In your palm is a gunYou want to feel as light as a feather
But trouble weighs in at a tonThere's gotta be a better way
You want to be another placeRun little brother
Run run little brother
Don't stop til we where we belongYou and I
You and I
Will no longer be denied
Pick me up if I should fall

Cause they could never stop us allYou and I
You and I
Let this be a battle cry
Put your fist up in the crowd
Cause they could never stop us nowDon't get caught in the middle of it all
In the negativity and the heat
Cause they'll trash talk as soon as you walk away
But they smile in your faceDon't ever let it get you down
Don't ever let it turn you roundRun baby baby ...
Don't stop til the dark is gone
I know its on the radio
I know you see it on your tv screen
You read it online, in the papers, and
Even in the magazine
Don't waste time with fitting' in
Cause you and I are differentRun baby baby ....Meet me 'round the way
So we can break through all this grey
Make a b-line for the exit sign
We gotta get outta this place
Meet me 'round the way
So we can break through all this grey
Make a b-line for the exit sign
We gotta get outta this placeYou and I
You and I
Will no longer be denied
Pick me up if I should fall
Cause they could never stop us allYou and I
You and I
Let this be a battle cry
Put your fist up in the crowd
Cause they could never stop us now
