Your Llorona Lyrics

Last night I saw her, your Llorona
Sitting alone at the back of the bar
Through the smoke and tequila
Tears and mascara
Hopeless and haunting the hotel CesarOh, your Llorona
Will remember forever corazon
Oh, your Llorona
Still waiting, still weeping, still aloneI didn't know what to tell her
Your Llorona
She was watching the boys
Come and go all nightShe was looking for you again
Your Llorona
The one in the corner
Dressed in whiteOh, your Llorona
Will remember forever corazon
Oh, your Llorona
Still waiting, still weeping, still aloneShe was asking about you again
Your Llorona

So what should I tell her
What should I say?She thinks you are coming back
Your Llorona
She swears you are coming back
To her some dayOh, your Llorona
Will remember forever corazon
Your Llorona
Still waiting, still weeping, still aloneOh, your Llorona
Will remember forever corazon
Your Llorona
Still waiting, still weeping, still aloneLlorona

Llorona

Concrete Blonde is an alternative rock band dating from the early 1980s to the early 1990s (and re-formed again in the 2000s). They are best known for the poignant songwriting and vocals of Johnette Napolitano. Singer / songwriter / bassist Napolitano formed the band Dream 6 with guitarist James Mankey in Los Angeles in 1982, releasing an eponymous EP in France on the Happy Hermit label in 1983. When they signed with IRS in 1986, labelmate Michael Stipe suggested the name Concrete Blonde, describing the contrast between their hard rock music and introspective lyrics.
