Your Love Is the Place Where I Come From Lyrics

Your sadness don't lie
Your feelings can't hide
You always know why
But your reasons are sly
You never deny
What you feel insideI, I disappear when you're not here
In my lifeI can't slip away when I see your face
I lose my confusion
Your love is the place where I come from
When I'm on my own I'm lost in space
My freedoms a delusion
Your love is the place where I come fromMy sadness don't lie
My feelings can't hide
I Just can't deny
What I feel insideI can't slip away when I see your face
I lose my confusion
Your love is the place where I come from
When I'm on my own I'm lost in space

My freedoms a delusion
Your love is the place where I come fromI can't slip away when I see your face
I lose my confusion
Your love is the place where I come from
When I'm on my own I'm lost in space
My freedoms a delusion
Your love is the place where I come from

Teenage Fanclub are an indie rock band from Bellshill, Scotland near Glasgow, formed in 1989, and were formerly known as The Boy Hairdressers. They have two generally known humorous nicknames "The Fannies" and "The Bellshill Beach Boys"

Teenage Fanclub are revered for their devotion to chiming, Byrds-esque guitars and harmony vocals. Songwriting duties are shared between the three permanent members of the band, Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley, and Gerard Love.

In 2006, the band held two special concerts in London and Glasgow, playing their 1991 masterpiece Bandwagonesque in its entirety.

There have been a succession of drummers, including:

- Francis MacDonald (a prime-mover in the C86 scene, later of the BMX Bandits), the drummer in the original lineup, and in a later period
- Brendan O’Hare (later of Telstar Ponies, Thrapple , Mogwai and Macrocosmica)

and

- Paul Quinn (later of The Primary 5), who was later replaced by the returning Francis MacDonald.

Keyboardist Finlay MacDonald (no relation to Francis MacDonald) has also been a member.
