You're No Match Lyrics

So sad to see you go
You've had enough of everyone here
You couldn't light a candle
to who your friends pretend to beSo go and search for some new sucker
Sing a song and say a prayer for meYou are the monster I was scared you'd be
And now you're blaming it on your surroundings
And your horns came out so gradually
But honey, you're no match for me
You're no match for meI've watched beneath your knee get trembles
In the beds for which you travels
And the friends you swore that you were so above
Who's going to care about you when you don't care about anyone? So go and search for some new sucker
Sing a song and say a prayer for meYou are the monster I was scared you'd be
And now you're blaming it on your surroundings
And your horns came out so gradually
But honey, you're no match for meWell I know I'm quite the catch but why sink it all just to be looked back
I always do this, I always do this
Sorry to say you're not worth one more blister on my heart

I always do this, I always do thisSorry, you are the monster I was scared you'd be
And now you're blaming it on your surroundings
And your horns came out so gradually
But honey, you're no match for me
You're no match for me
You are the monster I was scared you'd be
And now you're blaming it on your surroundings
And your horns came out so gradually
But honey, you're no match for me

Formed in October of 2000, Bayside consisted of four musicians looking for a chance to play music the rest of their lives. They recorded a demo and the band began playing shows around Long Island, NY. They quickly caught the eye of Brooklyn, New York's Dying Wish Records, who released their first EP, "Long Stories Short", featuring the songs "Foot Impressions", "Days Of My Life", "Red Head VS. The Pretty Red Bracelet", "Downtime", "Ask For It", and "Advance Letter Goodbye".
