You're the Only Reason Lyrics

(Written by Mick Ralphs)I was down and out, and living on my luck
Even that was wearing thin
Turned around one day and you were standing there, babe
You made my life beginYou're the only reason I'm living
I'm loving every minute with you, yeah
You're the reason I'm living
And I owe it all to youI was lonely, I was down, and I was broke
'Bout as low as a man could be
You picked me up and you saved me, baby
'Cause you believed in me, yes you didYou're the only reason I'm living
I'm loving every minute with you, yeah
You're the reason I'm living
And I owe it all to you, yeahI'm looking back all things going down
You made me strong
Baby, showed me how to get along
You know you didNow I stand up straight and hold my head up high
I'm as proud as any man could be
See I've got everything that a man could want to have

Because of you and me, whoa ohYou're the only reason I'm living
I'm loving every minute with you, yes I am
You're the reason I'm living
And I owe it all to you, yeahYou're the only reason I'm living
Loving every minute with you
You're the reason I'm living
And I owe it all to you, yeahYes, I owe it
You know I owe it
Baby, baby, baby, baby

Enjoy the lyrics !!!
(Not to be confused with Bad Company UK, the 1990s/2000s drum-and-bass DJ team. If you are here because of them, please fix your artist tags.)

Bad Company was a 1970s British blues-rock group fronted by Paul "The Voice" Rodgers. Their name came from a ‘70s Western movie and they were formed by former members of Mott the Hoople, Free, and King Crimson. Members were Paul Rodgers (singer/pianist), Mick Ralphs (guitarist), Boz Burrell (bassist), and Simon Kirke (drummer).

Their hits include “Shooting Star,” “Bad Company,” “Feel Like Makin’ Love,” “Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy,” "Ready for Love," and “Can’t Get Enough,” most of which are off of the albums Straight Shooter and Bad Company.

In the mid 80`s Rodgers & Burrell left the band. New singer Brian Howe, who had worked with Ted Nugent earlier, made 4 albums with the band. Year 1990`s LP Holy water contained big hit "If you needed somebody". Their style was then more like melodic rock.

In mid 1990`s Howe left the band and solo artist Robert Hart replaced him. Also other guitarist Dave Colwell & basist Rick Wills joined to group. In 2000`s Paul Rodgers came back to make the new album with old band members Kirke, Ralphs & other guys. They got a hit with the song "Joe Fabulous" what was number 1 on Classic Rock Radio. After that recording all original members left the band and new line-up members came to band. Robert Hart became again the band´s singer.
