Youth Youth Youth Lyrics

Hey, youth, youth, youth
(Youth, youth, youth)
Hey, youth, youth, youth
(Youth, youth, youth)Never wanna be an adult
Always wanna be in revoltHey, youth, youth, youth
(Youth, youth, youth)
Hey, youth, youth, youth
(Youth, youth, youth)Don't wanna spend my life
Saving up for thingsI don't wanna have
What a steady job brings
I don't want security
Don't want responsibilityI don't wanna stay at home
Not making any noise
I've always got to be out
I've always got to have a choiceI don't want security
Don't want responsibilityHey, youth, youth, youth
(Youth, youth, youth)
Hey, youth, youth, youth

(Youth, youth, youth)I don't want no uniform
And I don't want no book of rules
'Cause that's youthYouth, youth, youth
(Youth, youth, youth)
Hey, youth, youth, youth
(Youth, youth, youth)Never wanna be an adult
Always wanna be in revoltYouth, youth, youth
(Youth, youth, youth)
Hey, youth youth youth
(Youth, youth, youth)Well, I don't want no uniform
And I don't want no book of rules
'Cause that's youth[Incomprehensible]

The core members of Generation X, a seminal British punk rock band with heavy new wave and power pop influences, were singer-songwriter Billy Idol (who has since maintained a remarkable 30+ year solo career) and bassist Tony James (later of Sigue Sigue Sputnik and for a spell Sisters of Mercy before settling in Carbon/Silicon). Generation X was formed in 1976 after guitarist Billy Idol (a.k.a William Broad) and bassist Tony James decided to go out on their own, leaving Gene October, the leader of their then band Chelsea.
