candycoatedwaterdrops Lyrics

What is this mass confusion, this crazy way we're living
This emptiness we're passing out
Like candycoatedwaterdrops
Spilling out my thoughts, spilling out your gutsAnd I can't help but stop and think thatIf the world stopped spinning
If the end was beginning
Would you even notice if I wasn't there?
If the world stopped spinning aroundAll that's worth dying for is already dead
An empty religion you've learned to accept
When nothing means everything, your daily routine
You go through the motions like a helpless machineWell, if the world stopped spinning
If the end is beginning
Would you even notice if I wasn't there?
If the world stopped spinning aroundYoure spinning round
Youre spinning round
But I cant help wonderingYoure spinning round
Youre spinning round
But I cant help wonderingWhen the answers to everything are right in your hands
You lose your conviction but you can't help standing

On the one thing held you for so many years
You ask for forgiveness and hold back the tearsAnd I can't help but stop and think thatIf the world stopped spinning
If the end is beginning
Would you even notice if I wasn't there?
If the world stopped spinning aroundIf the world stopped spinning
If the end is beginning
Would you even notice if I wasn't there?
If the world stopped spinning aroundYoure spinning round
Youre spinning round
But I cant help wonderingYou're spinning 'round
Spinning 'round
But I can't help wondering
But I can't help wondering

Singer/songwriter Tiffany Arbuckle-Lee fronted the Dove Award-winning alternative rock band Plumb during the late '90s, and adopted the name Plumb for her subsequent full-fledged solo career. She was born in Indianapolis and grew up in Atlanta, where she took several gigs as a backup singer and wound up touring in that capacity instead of going to college, as she'd planned. She relocated to Nashville, where she landed a record deal based on her session and backup work, and formed Plumb with neighbor/songwriter/producer Matt Bronleewe.
