Deftype has been producing since 1998 in his homestudio. The Gemischtwaren ep is his first publication, released on the Phonocake Netlabel. Soon, more releases were publicised on different other netlabels.
Living and working in Dresden, Deftype creates music, that as he says is a kind of diary that consists of tracks, associations, feelings of one year or any other given amount of time.
