Liva (Olivia) Weel was a Danish singer and actress. She was born on December 31, 1897 in the center of Copenhagen and started her career at nineteen singing ballads although having been taught classical music. Liva became very popular as a singer in the roaring 1920ies, and later she made her debut in a long row of films. She died on May 22, 1952.
