macaroon - Atols

Formed in 2001, Atols is a Japanese electronica, breakbeats, breakcore, and IDM unit consisting of 2 musicians. One of them is a human beat boxer with an established reputation in Japan, a.k.a. better. They fuse warm sound of human voices and acoustic instruments with synthetic sound of digital gadgets to bring a totally new multi colored polyhedron landscape. Their music is all about overwhelming love for inorganic substances; by this love, in turn, they express the admiration to life, humanism, and romance.
