mwvm is Michael Walton, an electronic musician based in County Durham in the United Kingdom. mwvm was created in the fall of 2005, but his experiments with delay pedals and home recording date back to 1996. He has spent the last few years refining his sound, focusing on guitar manipulation, repetition, and studies in drone ambience. His minimalist creations are produced in a self-induced solitary environment; within this isolation, his introspective and often meditative music has captured the interest of a growing audience both nationally and internationally.
