this heat Lyrics

It's making me nervous
How every day feels the same
Meet my phantoms, they never seem to want to go away
So they stayI found a good place for everyone I know to come and rest
All I ever wanted is for everyone I know to come and rest
Meet my phantoms, meet my phantoms
Meet my phantoms, meet my phantomsHow's your body, how clean is your soul?
Why are you trying to steal my thoughts before they fly
Fall right in, let's talk, Maurice
If everything's fine, then why are you waiting for him? How's your body, how clean is your soul?
Why are you trying to steal my thoughts before they talk
Fall right in, let's talk Maurice
If everything's fine, then what are you waiting for?Kid, where's your pride? Use your time
Sure it's more than love and goals and love and goals
Use your pride, use your time
Waste of life, feel the music change your mindWhere's your body, where's your soul?
Waste of life, feel the music change your mind
Where's your body, where's your soul?

Sure it's more than love and goals and love and goalsKid, where's your pride? Use your time
Sure it's more than love and goals and love and goals
Use your pride, use your time
Waste of life, feel the music change your mindWhere's your body, where's your soul?
Waste of life, feel the music change your mindFeel the music change your mind

This Heat were an experimental British rock band widely considered a link between progressive rock and such later experimental genres as post-punk, post-rock, and noise-rock. They were formed in late-1975 in Brixton, London, United Kingdom by multi-instrumentalists Charles Bullen (guitar, clarinet, viola, vocals, tapes), Charles Hayward (percussion, keyboards, vocals, tapes) and Gareth Williams (keyboard, guitar, bass, vocals, tapes). Their music touched on numerous different styles and genres, and was frequently confrontational and politically charged.
