Synthcake is possibly the most eclectic, campy, space pop band to come out of the Vancouver scene. Folks have called it "Sci-fi-delic circus pop" and compared the bands creepy dance ballads to "Electronic banshee serenades" echoing through an "Evil abandoned fair ground".
With twisted, angelic female vocals, fat, grimy synth tones and raunchy, primal dance beats, Synthcake's live show is a hypnotic trip.
