Hugues Tremblay, known professionally as Hugo Bass, is a Canadian producer and DJ of progressive house and electronic dance music based in Montreal. He began his career as DJ in 1984 and quickly became famous, by reaching the first position of the contest Défi DJ two years in a row (1994-1995). In 2000, he joined forces with Martin Cloutier to form Bionik Blue. They produced several hits including "Pure Injection" and "Feel Alright" where they reached the top 5 ranking of the Canadian National Dance billboard.
