The Briztronix style has progressed into a post-hip hop blend of electro synths, jazzy horns, live instrumentation, ambient sampling and extra large beat programming. Structures of Canyons continues the collaboration of lifelong friends and band members Shazam and DJ Bacon as they produce and record a 15-track album of rich beatscapes strongly suggestive of the golden era of early Ninja Tune and Mo Wax releases. Call it Cut Copy meets Paso Bionic; or RJD2 mind-melding with Hermitude. Call it illbient, downtempo or electro – it's got beats, it's instrumental, it's dark.
