There are two artists by the name Zapf Dingbats. 1. The first one is an anonymous DIY combo from southern Sweden, known to make public appearances wearing ape masks. Their music is sometimes described as "synth pop", which may be a bit misleading; this is not your traditional synth pop sound, but rather a blend of electronic pop and guitar driven rock'n'roll. The lyrics are usually derived from word games and strange semantic associations.
