Hidden Yard are an experimental band from Paris, formed in the year 2004, when Thierry and Arnaud met each other thanks to an ad on internet. At the beginning, this band had many different line-ups as it was a project where many different kind of musicians met…trying to bring together the melody with guitars, and mix it up with more classical strings & brass instruments (like violin, cellos & saxophone) in an ambient and relaxing context performed with machine noises. At this time, they used to play in a dedicated room in a conservatory but this place wasn't what they needed...
Finally both started to play and rehearse in the basement of Arnaud’s house in the middle of the Chevreuse Valley…trying to record sounds inspired by the atmosphere around…
They randomly met Elliott, the drummer, during a crazy Jazz jam evening on the docks of St Michel.
Now they rehearse in a proper studio in Paris…always looking for others musicians to compose and perform new stuff…
