Mango Molas
Slovak band Mango Molas was established in 1998 as a formation of 4 percussionists looking for inspiration mainly in rhythms of South Africa. New members were coming and the sound of Mango Molas has been changing. At present, we may define their production as music coming out of afro-cuban tradition influenced by sounds of West Africa, Arabia or slovak folk music.
During 6 years of their existence, Mango Molas became a mature and respected formation. They presented their music at major slovak cultural events (festivals Pohoda, Nocne vlny, Hodokvas etc.
