Bona Fide

Bona Fide

A long time ago (1998), in a land far away (Baltimore, MD) a funky jazz band was born. Its name? Bona Fide. Why Bona Fide? Well, anything with 'Bone' in the name can't be too bad. The band got its start when Carl Griffin, a legendary record executive who discovered Diana Krall and Evelyn 'Champagne King', called Tim Camp, former Motown songwriter, and asked for some funky jazz. Tim and Carl worked together at Motown, way back when, and now Carl needed a funky jazz band for his new record company.
